_    This past Tuesday was our coffee house. It was where everyone had to make up a spoken word poem and present it to the class. Nerve racking isn't it? But I think it went pretty well.

The poems were really interesting. Nothing that I've heard before and I'm pretty sure people revealed a side to them that not many can see. Coming from someone who likes poetry, it was enlightening to see such creativity.

The overall experience was entertaining and an eye opener to the different words that people can use to express themselves.

Stripes:

Stripes are going to be huge this session. Its already been featured on runway shows for vogue and other huge magazines. This session, rocking a statement stripe shirt or pair of pants is ideal. Anything with stripes is a fair game so just experiment and have fun.




Neon Accessories.

Last summer, neon was a big fashion staple for anyone. This summer you'll be seeing neon color such as purple, pink, yellow and blue on necklaces, bags and shoes. Color blocking is still a go but try mixing a few fun color in your everyday outfit for a pop of spice. If you can't bring yourself to buying something so bright, try painting your nails with bright colors. Hint hint, nudge nudge, neon colors can make you look so much tanner then you already are.


Palazzo Pants:

Everyone wants to wear easy, airy soft fabrics in the summer when its over 80 degree weather. These pants are great and are big this session. I've already seen them in popular stores like Forever 21 and Love Culture. I personally don't think i could rock these exact pants but what I find very similar are maxi skirts. I love maxi skirts, they are so easy to wear and I can just through them on with a pretty top when I want to look put together and clean. So if your a little bit intimated by these pants like I am, try skirt or dress.
